Annapurna Circuit Trek, widely popular as one of the most exciting and adventurous trekking trail in the whole world which offers a spectacular snow-capped view of the white Himalayas, impressive views of pastoral life and terraced rice fields carved out greenery. Annapurna Circuit Trek is 19 Days long trek that takes us through every type of scenery that Nepal has to offer. The trek offers an incredibly varied and exciting landscape ranging from sub-tropical through alpine peaks to an arid semi-desert similar to Tibet. This trek attracts thousands of tourists every year so it has a good network of teahouses/lodges facilities that provide quality food and accommodation for the trekkers and climbers. The highest point of this trek is Thorong/Thorung La Pass at an elevation of 5416 meters.
Annapurna Circuit Trek begins at Beshisahar in the Marshyangdi River Valley and ends in the Kali Gandaki gorge which is known as the deepest gorge in the world. Trekkers will have a great opportunity to witness an amazing view of Mt. Dhaulagiri (8,167m), Gangapurna (7,455m), Manaslu (8,156m), Machhepuchhre (6,993m), and Tilicho peak (7,134m) around the circuit. The trail takes us along incredible waterfalls, paddy fields, sub-tropical forest, impressive Himalayas, huge cliffs and several human settlements. The trek also offers the best opportunity to interact with different ethnic people, their culture, tradition and explore their lifestyles & livelihood.

Day 1 :- Arrive in Kathmandu

Upon your arrival at the Tribhuvan International Airport, One of Carena Trek representative will pick you from the airport and transfer you to the hotel.

Day 2 :- Kathmandu Sightseeing Tour

Next day early morning, we take you to some of the popular landmarks located in the Kathmandu Valley that includes a quick tour to Boudhanath, Pashupatinath, Swyambhunath and Kathmandu Durbar Square. In the evening, you can explore local markets of Thamel and buy some trekking gears if you haven’t. 

Day 3 :- Drive to Syange (1,140m) via Besisar - 6 hrs.

And we finally kick off our drive early morning to Syange from Kathmandu Valley which takes about 6 hours from the valley. We drive through scenic places, terraced fields and numerous villages on our way to Syange. Overnight Stay in Syange. 

Day 4 :- Trek to Dharapani (1,943m) from Syange - 6 hrs.

On Day 4, our trek officially starts and we start early morning from 6 am with heavy breakfast at Syange. We walk for almost 6 hours that takes up to a beautiful place called Dharapani where we are going to spend our overnight. 

Day 5 :- Trek to Chame 2,720m - 5 hrs.

During our trek to Chame from Dharapani, we mostly go through the forest of pine and oak. After the short steep ascending path, we mostly walk flat until we reach Chame, which is the administrative headquarter for the Manang District. Overnight Stay in Chame.

Day 6 :- Trek to Pisang 3,190 m - 5 hrs.

We wake up early morning with the sparkling view of Lamjung Himal. We pack our bags to set off for Pisang. The trail becomes little high steep-sided and rocky as this day going to be a little difficult than previous days. On the way, you get to witness an amazing view of Annapurna II as well as Pisang Peak (6091m.) to the north-east. Overnight stay in Pisang.

Day 7 :- Trek to Manang (3,540m) from Pisang - 4 hrs.

We continue our trek early morning and we climb a steep ridge that offers the coolest views of the Manang valley and Tilicho peak (7145m.). After walking 4 continuous hours, we finally reach Manang, which is a large village for this remote mountain region with a unique culture and lifestyle. Overnight stay in Manang.

Day 8 :- Rest day at Manang for acclimatization

The day brings us an opportunity to get close with local people and know about their culture, tradition, language, and lifestyle. We spend the whole day by exploring the surrounding and importance places near Manang. 

Day 9 :- Trek to Yak Kharka 4,210 m - 4 hrs

After spending 1 and a half days in Manang, we continue our trek with more energy and motivation because further trek going to be more challenging. Today, we have to walk for almost 4 hours until we reach Yak Kharka where we will spend overnight. 

Day 10 :- Trek to Thorang- La High Camp or Phedi 4,450 m from Yak Kharka - 4 hrs.

Early Morning, we start walking gently to a ridge before descending to the headwaters of the Marshyangdi and crossing via a wooden bridge. After a short uphill walk, we follow a narrow trail then descend to Thorong Phedi where we spend overnight.

Day 11 :- Trek over Thorang La 5,416m to Muktinath 3,800 m - 6 hrs.

The day going to be quite an exciting and challenging at the same time where we cross Thorong La Pass (5,416m), the highest point of our Annapurna Circuit Trek. We can explore amazing views from the top of Thorong La Pass. After lunch, we descend down towards Muktinath, which is a famous pilgrimage site among both Hindu and Buddhist devotees around the world. 

Day 12 :- Trek to Marpha 2,670 m via Jomsom - 6 hrs.

Today, we continue our journey towards Marpha through the pitch road crossing the fields and meadows. Marpha is a beautiful village with flat-roofed houses with white-painted walls. Upon your arrival in Marpha, you can see apple orchards all around the village. Overnight in Marpha. 

Day 13 :- Trek to Kalapani or Lete 2,400 m - 6 hrs.

Trek to Kalapani trail reward us with an amazing view of the Himalayas like Nilgiri (7061m), Annapurna I (8091m), Dhaulagiri (8167m), etc. From Marpha, we go mostly downwards by passing beautiful villages like Tukuche, Kokhethanti and finally arrive in Kalopani.

Day 14 :- Trek to Tatopani (hot-spring) 1,190 m - 6 hrs.

This day going to be extra special for us as we are going to enjoy natural hot-springs which helps us relax and heals our muscles pain. It takes almost 6 hours of a long walk to arrive at Tatopani from Kalapani. 

Day 15 :- Trek to Ghorepani 2,860 m - 6 hrs.

Today, we mostly pass through Magar and Gurung settlements on our way to Ghorepani. We have to pass through some of the beautiful villages like Ghar Khola Gaon, Shikha, and Phalate to reach Ghorepani. Overnight stay in Ghorepani. 

Day 16 :- Hike to Poon Hill and continue trek to Tirkhedhunga 1,440 m - 5 hrs.

On day 16, we wake up early than usual as we going to hike all the way up to Poon Hill to witness the best sunrise view over the white Himalayas. Poon Hill is the most famous sunrise and sunset viewpoint of Annapurna Region. After witnessing the best of Poon Hill, we trek down to Ghorepani and after having lunch, we continue our trek towards Tirkhedhunga for an overnight stay. 

Day 17 :- Trek to Nayapul 1,010 m - 4 hrs and drive to Pokhara 860 m - 2 hrs.

Day 17 is easy and relaxing for us as we have to walk only 2 hours and rest of the time you can spend by hanging out with friends, exploring local markets in Pokhara and enjoying the lakeside atmosphere. 

Day 18 :- Drive back to Kathmandu

After a long adventure, we go back to Kathmandu early morning on a tourist bus or private vehicle. It takes 6 hours to arrive in Kathmandu from Pokhara and spare time you can spend by exploring local markets and trying famous street foods of Nepal. 

Day 19 :- Departure

This is your last day with us and one of our airport representatives will drop you to the airport on our private vehicle for your further journey.
